Rickenbacker 330 Project Build Part 6

Ok, So the https://townerusa.com DTBii has been successfully installed if you look closely at the picture below, you can see that I actually needed an additional set of thumbwheels. One set to screw the DTBii down tight to the base of the the Winfield Vintage Vintage Base plate Adaptor.The second set to adjust the height of WDMusic Roller Bridge.The Pic Below shows the top view and Bigsby. Operationally the entire setup works perfectly. There was a while there where I thought it would not be able to overcome the Rickenbacker quirkiness and individuality……………..We did it and no additional screws in the body anywhere……so you could do these Mods and turn your Ric back to original without risk of more holes…Below is a closeup of the DTBii Detail. It really is a nice bit of Kit visually and functions perfectly. I would recumbent the roller bridge though.I am beginning to feel like I have solved most of or maybe all the issue that I am likely to come against with this build.Next a few cosmetic things – I am thinking Gold TRC and Pickguards. Toaster Knobs. Kluson Locking Tuners. TVJones T-Armond Pickups with Dearmond mounts and this will be one unique and Tasty Ric……Stay tuned.
