1979 Fender Stratocaster Project Rebuild – Part 2

Well, I have to say, “a stratocaster is a heck of a lot easier than a rickenbacker!!”

All wired up with Emerson Custom Prewire Kit for Stratocaster and Sliders SRV ’59 pickup set.

This is an early Emerson Custom Prewire with the unnamed PIO Cap. As always though – beautiful wiring and just makes the job so much easier. 250k Vintage Pots. Treble Bleed etc.

The original pickguard was used, but the screw holes were worn out. So I filled these with wood putty. Once solid, re-drilled them and now its a nice fit.
